Rocking Reads2015 has yielded some really Rockin’ Reads for me. Now, I like all genres so I can get behind romance books in the erotic, contemporary, historical, sci-fi, and paranormal. I love me some delicious books.  That being said, I’ve got a pick for each category. I won’t keep you long either and I’ll give you

Erotic: Evening Storm by Anne Calhoun

Why? Erotic doesn’t mean you have to be naked.

Contemporary: The One in My Heart by Sherry Thomas

Why? The nerdy girl gets the guy.

Historical: The Legend of Lyon Redmond by Julie Ann Long

Why? I’ve been waiting a long time, and 2 days before the end of this blog tour I’ll have devoured this book. That is all.

Sci-Fi: Gemini by Catherine Peace

Why? World-building, action, and romance… in that order.

Paranormal: Soul Solution by Kathryn McIntyre

Why? Refreshing re-telling and a great concept for a short story.

I haven’t read any of your reads. I can’t think of a book that really rocked me this summer. I did enjoy Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews.

No I haven’t read any of the books you listed. My fave/rockin read was a toss up this year between This Man Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas, and The Inside Out Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. :)

Lisa Renee Jones is on my radar, but I’ve never taken the plunge. Maybe that should change? :)

I haven’t read any of your Rockin Reads yet. I, too, have had a really great reading 2015 so far. John Connelly’s Night Music, Lisa Kessler’s Harvest Moon, Pierce Brown’s Golden Son, Anne Bishop’s Vision in Silver,Kerry Denney’s Jagannath, and the Future Chronicles, Special Edition (edited by Samuel Peralta) all gave me reasons to pause and contemplate something – each something different and wonderful (or creepy).

Ooh, fantasy is definitely a genre I’ve enjoyed in the past, but haven’t found the right book to dive back into it. This sounds like something I’d enjoy. Thanks!

Have not read any of the above books. I recommend Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews, but you should read the series in order, so don’t start with that one! If you enjoy historical romance, I recommend authors Courtney Milan and Loretta Chase.
